We Have Friends!

Today at the babyhouse, we got to talk to the other families that are here. And then we all went to lunch together. It was fun, and one of the families has their 2 little boys with them, age 7 and 9. We thought we were all really close together in our apartments, but then we made a meeting spot and ended up 2 different places, so we must not be as close as we thought. It's hard to make landmarks when you can't read any of the signs. :) We're all going to dinner together tomorrow.

We have a few dates--our last bonding day will be June 10, and we'll apply for a court date on June 11. We should know our court date by June 13, so we'll be posting that when we know it. We get to start seeing Julia again tomorrow. Hooray!

We had a good visit with Angelica today. She likes to color and is pretty definitely a lefty. She threw a full-blown fit today when we put away the colors to leave. She's definitely 2! It cooled off a lot and is really nice outside today. It's supposed to be cool all weekend and even colder at the beginning of next week. WooHoo!

We didn't get to see Prince Caspian when we went to the theater, because they changed the time of the showing at the last minute. So we saw Indiana Jones instead. Not quite as good as seeing something we had already seen, because we were lost for most of the dialogue, but on the whole we enjoyed it and it was fun to see how much we could get without words. Our translator helped out a little, but most of it we just figured out. Or at least we think we did...

We ate at a yummy Russian restaurant. It was decorated to look like the outside of a peasant cabin. Some people at another table heard us speaking English and got us an order of fruit to be sent to our table for us. It was good. All the food was good! Nicholas, as I expected, couldn't eat his food (chicken noodle soup) because it was too yucky, and his stomach was too full, and too hot, and going to explode. He did eventually eat the noodles out and said it was ok, but that was only after Greg told him that if he couldn't eat his meals he wouldn't get any more snacks. The things he'll do for chips!

Love you guys and hope to see you all again soon!
